Some spell cast on us

Making the world sparkle

Causing the scents to lift us

The sun was so bright

The clouds were dancing

Birds were singing

And the dogs were playing

Acting like puppies

Caught up in the feeling

There was no tomorrow

We forgot yesterday

I'm sure it was magic

A spell of happiness

Causing us to stop

To smell the wildflowers

I couldn't breath the air enough

I hardly dared to believe it was true

Running side by side

With the grass brushing our thighs

The wind playing in your hair

Butterflies everywhere

That look in your eye

The thoughts behind your gaze

Being carried away

Even the sunset was enchanted

Colors straight from a book

My arm around you

My heart set free

A spell over us

We were lost in the magic
